EBC Quest Application Form

EBC Quest Program is a leadership program for youth going into grade 9 & 10.

What is the Quest program?
A bridge program from being a camper to becoming a staff volunteer at EBC. As a quest participant, youth will be able to enjoy the camp environment while still gaining practical leadership experiences that will help them to grow in their faith and character.

Quest 2026 Dates
Week 1: July 11-18
Week 2: July 18-25

Quest and Volunteer Training Weekend is June 13-14, 2026. This training is mandatory.

Cost
$180 per week

Deposit
Upon acceptance into the program, $50 will be due, via e-transfer, to hold your spot. The remaining balance can be paid by the start date of camp.

Application Processing
Your Application Form will be processed once it has been submitted in full on or before Thurs April 30, 2026.  You will be notified of your application status via e-mail or phone call in mid-May.

Volunteer Hours
Participants will be granted volunteer hours based on the amount of volunteer service they complete during the program (e.g., time spent cleaning washrooms, sweeping, serving meals, etc…).

Please Note: All applications are due by Thurs April 30, 2026. Due to limited space, the EBC Director Team uses a few key factors when selecting participants for Quest each year. We consider whether applications are submitted on time, past participation, attitude and engagement in previous years, and overall program capacity. While we would love to accept everyone, these criteria help us make thoughtful and fair decisions. You will be notified of your application status via e-mail or phone call in mid-May 2026. 

Confidentiality:
The information provided on this application will be reviewed by the EBC Director Team.  The information will remain confidential.  References and other information will be used to confirm requirements of those characteristics needed for a Christian camping environment.

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies
The EBC Kitchen is able to accommodate many dietary needs, but our Kitchen Director cannot accept every dietary request due to the limitations of the kitchen environment. 



Our kitchen is not certified peanut- or nut-free. While EBC makes every effort to avoid purchasing peanut and tree nut products, some ingredients we use are labeled “may contain peanuts or tree nuts.” If you have a peanut or tree nut allergy, our Kitchen Director or Camp Nurse may reach out to learn more about your specific allergy and discuss whether EBC would be a safe and appropriate fit for you.



EBC is not a kosher certified kitchen. The EBC Kitchen staff do our best to provide pork free/gelatin free and shellfish free meal options for those who have requested it.

Liability Waiver
I/we, the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) of the child named above, agree to indemnify and hold harmless Explore Bible Camp, Evangelical Baptist Campground, its Directors, Ministry Staff, Camp Director, and Property Managers from any and all loss, damage, or injury suffered by my child as a result of participation in EBC activities, including any medical treatment authorized by camp supervisory staff.

Quest Conditions of Enrolment


Upon acceptance as a EBC Quest participant, I will: 



  1. Contribute to the camp program by encouraging campers and staff to grow “in wisdom, in knowledge, in grace and in favour with God and man” as our Lord Jesus demonstrated to us (Luke 2:52, 2 Peter 3:18).

  2. Comply with EBC Policies and Procedures.

  3. Follow the EBC Quest Code of Conduct.

  4. Serve in my designated role to promote safety, inclusiveness and respect amongst campers and staff.

  5. Read and apply the material outlined in my EBC Quest Manual.

  6. Review my role description and carry out the responsibilities outlined and seek help or clarification when I need it.

  7. Agree to be encouraged, mentored and supported by an EBC Senior Team lead in my successes and in my failures in my role.

  8. Attend the Staff Training Weekend on June 13-14, 2026.

  9. Agree to prayerfully consider my role and responsibilities and commitment to the Lord’s work at EBC this summer. 

  10. Agree to pay any outstanding program fees and fill out all necessary camp forms and documentation.

  11. I understand that if I do not comply with one of the above conditions, I may need to be released of my duties by the Camp Director and no longer participate in the camp program.
